Great iPad Web App Design Article
It is only a matter of time that the iOS and Android universe goes the way of their desktop counter-parts.  What do I mean by that, well I foresee more and more interest in developing web-apps that are mobile-friendly and whose content is specifically geared to being consumed via mobile platforms.  This will cause a little shake-out for functionality use-cases.  Installed apps will be games and utility gadgets, things that have a very specific contextual purpose.  Web apps will be more geared towards things like extending a company's brand and a marketing outreach, or apps that would require connectivity anyway to function and don't require local data storage (until HTML 5 gets full implemented).

So look for apps to shake out like this:
Installed Apps:
  • dictionary.com's dictionary
  • convert bot
  • Pocket God
Web Apps:
  • Facebook
  • Loopt
  • NYTimes

Accepted into Google Ad Sense Beta
Pretty exciting, we've been accepted to participate in Google's Ad Sense Beta program.  We are one of only 230 developers (so far) who've been invited to participate.  This means we'll be adding an additional revenue source for folks who would like to have an ad driven iPhone app.
iPhone app, "Quick & Easy Quilt Block Tool" hits the "What's Hot!" list!
Happy Day!!  One of the iPhone apps we developed for C&T Publishing hit the "What's Hot" list on the iTunes App Store.  We are on cloud nine!  We woke up, and cruised through the main page of the iTunes App Store, and poof there is was!  It seems that crafts really are a big thing right now.  Hopefully that will bode well for any future projects we do with them.
